The Worlds of Obut – Event & Communication Concept
Obut, a historic French pétanque brand, aimed to rejuvenate its image and reconnect with a younger generation while preserving its strong identity and heritage.
Our team imagined The Worlds of Obut, an immersive and playful experience inspired by the universe and planets, designed to redefine pétanque as a modern, inclusive, and entertaining activity.
We developed a global event and communication strategy, combining sport, lifestyle, and creative storytelling to showcase pétanque in a new light.
The project included:
• A creative concept linking pétanque and space exploration, with themed activities for each “planet.”
• An immersive two-day event at La Villette, Paris, featuring real and virtual experiences (VR pétanque, mini-golf, croquet, bowling…).
• A press kit and ad posters promoting the event and its limited-edition product line.
• An integrated media plan including social media content, digital press partnerships, guerrilla marketing, and OOH advertising.
• A visual and experiential identity built around light, motion, and futuristic design elements.
