In Rennes, a city in France, a small cabin overlooking the skyline welcomes one person each day to spend an hour resting and observing the city.
This poetic art project, called “The Dream Watchers of Rennes,” aims to create a quiet and reflective moment for 361 consecutive days.
My team and I developed a 361-day communication strategy to help recruit one participant per day while keeping the artistic and contemplative spirit of the project intact. We focused on emotional storytelling, local partnerships, and creative digital communication to sustain visibility throughout the year.The strategy included:
• Radio partnerships with local stations to build curiosity and emotion around the project.
• QR codes placed throughout Rennes, inviting passers-by to discover the concept and register for a session.
• Instagram posts highlighting each participant’s personal experience and the artistic meaning behind the project.
• Collaborations with local partners such as cultural institutions and city associations to extend visibility and credibility.
